Genesis Programs, Inc. (GPI) specialize in the treatment of problematic use of alcohol & other drugs. We have been providing services to Ventura County members and their families since 1993. All services are provided in an outpatient setting to offer our participants the opportunity to rehabilitate in their own community with their loved ones to establish a sustainable network of support that will complement their lifestyle changes needed to maintain ongoing recovery.

Our outpatient program consist of Partial Hospitalization (PHP) for those who meet ASAM
criteria 2.5, Intensive Outpatient (IOP) for those who meet ASAM criteria 2.1 and our Education
Program for those who meet ASAM criteria level 1 or below. The level of care, frequency of services,
and the duration of treatment are based on a thorough evaluation with one of our clinicians who will
develop an initial treatment plan – and if applicable Genesis Programs amies to provide services
without delay.

Genesis Programs Inc. outpatient treatment is certified by the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) as an outpatient treatment program for substance use disorder (SUD), in addition we are also certified through the DHCS as Drug Medical providers for Intensive Outpatient Treatment & Outpatient Drug Free services. We hold an 8-year standing accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of
Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF International) for Intensive Outpatient services.

Moreover we strive to support our mental health professionals entering the workforce by offering a practicum program for students enrolled with Oxnard College, Pierce University, Cal State Northridge, Cal State Long Beach, and Antioch University.

In addition to our outpatient program GPI is licensed by the State of California and contracted with Ventura County Behavioral Health  to provide driving under the influence (DUI) program services. Our DUI program offers group counseling, education, and individual services to those required to complete a first offender or multi offender DUI program.
